Call for Donation of PFAS Reference Standards (Domestic (Japan) Only)
Our laboratory is actively conducting research on stable isotope ratios of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). We are currently seeking companies, research institutions, and individuals within Japan who may be able to provide the PFAS reference standards or products listed below.
Donated materials will be used for the development of analytical methods aimed at identifying contamination sources and elucidating the environmental fate of PFAS in environmental samples.
Materials Sought
- PFOS – Perfluorooctane sulfonate
- PFOA – Perfluorooctanoic acid
- PFHxS – Perfluorohexane sulfonate
- Other PFAS – any related compounds are welcome
We welcome pure standards, mixed standard solutions, raw materials, or reagents scheduled for disposal. Even small quantities are appreciated.
How to Contact Us
Please note that this call is open to domestic (Japan) donors only. If you are able to contribute, please contact us at:
- Subject: Donation of PFAS Reagents
- Email: khiroto@shibaura-it.ac.jp
When contacting us, please include information on the compound(s), quantity, purity, and storage conditions where possible.
All donated materials will be handled responsibly and used solely for the stated research purposes. Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding handling or storage. No costs will be borne by the donor, and return of materials is not required.
