Davide Crescenzi from Sapienza University (Italy), who spent approximately five months in our laboratory as an intern last year, has returned to Japan and stopped by to visit us!

Although this trip was primarily a personal visit, he made time to come by the lab, and we had fruitful discussions about his plans for pursuing a doctoral degree. He is steadily moving forward, with enrollment potentially in sight for next year.

The research he tackled during his internship — source apportionment of PM2.5 in Italy using stable isotope analysis — is also progressing toward publication. We are all looking forward to the day when we can work together again!
