A faculty member and students from our university have been awarded grants from the Honjo Yuri Industry-Academia Promotion Foundation. A ceremony for the presentation of the grant award letters was held on July 13, 2020.

This grant program aims to further promote research and international exchange, and calls broadly for eligible research projects within the university. This year, three recipients were selected: Professor Ichiro Iida from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of System Science and Technology; Momoka Sudo, a second-year student in the Graduate School of Management Systems Engineering; and Tomoya Miyazaki, a second-year student in the Joint Graduate School of Life Cycle Design Engineering.

Regarding grants for international exchange, the Foundation has decided to temporarily suspend accepting applications due to the current global situation.
